Inside the Design
As the interior of the home took on new life, we knew the exterior needed to reflect that same sense of character and care. To bring the full vision to life, we reimagined the front entrance—rebuilding the porch patio to align with the expanded footprint of the addition and introducing classic shingles that echo the warmth and charm unfolding inside.
It’s a subtle shift that brings cohesion to the whole home—offering a welcoming first impression and a hint of what’s waiting within.

A newly renovated primary bath, home office, and family entertainment space set the tone for elevated everyday living, while a meticulously designed addition brings new life to the home. The expansion includes one additional bedroom, a full bathroom, an upstairs laundry space, a fully equipped home gym, and a cozy bunk nook—each space thoughtfully crafted to enhance comfort, functionality, and modern family flow. With approximately 750 square feet added, the home now spans 4,000 square feet, reflecting both purposeful design and intentional growth.
Reclaiming Spaces
At JFJ Homes, incorporating natural materials is at the core of our design philosophy. In the primary bathroom, we carried this value forward by layering in organic textures and soft, grounded elements.
Dropped pendant lights were added to frame the arched mirrors, offering a gentle, diffused glow that enhances the calm of the space. Every detail was chosen to feel intentional—warm, natural, and consistent with the tone set throughout the home.
Reimagining Home
In 2025, hybrid careers and work-from-home lifestyles are no longer the exception—they're part of daily life. With that in mind, we knew it was essential to design a space that supports focus, creativity, and meaningful work without sacrificing style.
This home office balances structure with intention. At its heart is a prominent feature wall—designed to serve both function and feeling. It offers space for personalization, allowing the homeowner to surround themselves with visual reminders of their purpose and inspiration throughout the day.
More than just a backdrop, this wall anchors the room—elevating the overall design while providing a sense of connection to the work being done within it.
